If anyone has a favorite RBP post or other paddlesport story that fits
the OYB vibe, please email me about it! (Or maybe just start a "Best
all-time posts" thread with it.) I'm putting together a new issue of
my DIY outdoor culture zeen RIGHT NOW. It's general interest, so if
you have a relevant story and it's not about boating, no sweat.
Thanks, JP

Jeff-

Somewhere on this hard drive of mine, I have the complete (far as I
know) postings of GratefulEd. Remember Ed? I bet he'd give you
permission to use them. As a body of work, they are great. I still
get a laugh just thinking about "The Bull Milker"

Yep, the Grateful Ed posts are definately ranking near the top, together
with Ken Strickland's works (under any of his pseudonyms!).

I think long time RBP'er Pete Staehling has a pretty complete collection
of both writers' posts on his website: http://www.eruditium.org/pete/

The Bull Milker isn't on Pete's erudite website (nice rhyme, Pete!)
but it can be retrieved via Google groups.

Ed's pseudo-guidebook writeup of Tawl Tail Creek is a total classic,
but can only be found in Robb Keller's book on Oregon whitewater.

Any recommendations for Best of Strickland?

I do have one, but it's mostly because it was written as a tribute to
Scott Bristow... I can't remember the title right now, but it brings
back strong memories.
