Hi folks - I'm trying to find out anything I can about canoeing the upper
Fraser (Tete Jaune to Penny). Has anyone paddled that trip? Comments?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

The fun (i.e. whitewater) part of the upper Fraser is from Moose Lake to Tete Jaune! But I'm not a canoeist, so I can't help you on
that section...

Hello Richard,

I have not paddled this section of the Fraser. I can offer a little help.
There is an excellent description in "Canoe Routes British Columbia," now
out of print but probably available in the library. Several members of the
Dogwood Club paddled this section a couple of years ago. See CanoeBC - >
Clubs. A friend of mine owns property on the Fraser where the Goat River
Trail, (from Bowron Lakes), http://www.savethegoat.ca/ crosses the river.
His name is Rocky Kelly and he welcomes campers. Hope this has been of some
assistance.
