This picture shows one of three things:

http://i5.tinypic.com/14l7nmq.jpg

1. I have a machine that enables me to travel between Colorado and
Pennsylvania in mere minutes.

2. I just spent hundreds of dollars on highway signs to pull of a major
deception.

3. You're as full of shit as Wilko as to who I say I am.

There is no such travel machine that I know of and I would buy another
kayak before I wasted
any money trying to fool some usenet posters so the answer without a
doubt is number 3.

Oci, in 2004 when I first started posting to RBP, I was a newbie on
usenet, and you are undoubtedly right about me being easily offended,
thin skinned, and for this I apologize to all!

Since that time, I have learned a bit, and definitely become thicker
skinned. My issue here is not so much for me, for Lord knows that I
have been called a lot worse names than troll or netkook, but here and
now I am concerned for how the Sees-ko kid is being jacked around. All
Wilko would have to do is apologize to him for his unfounded
assumption, and we could easily move on to bigger and better issues.

I for one, would rather talk about paddling, and that is why I took the
two year sabbatical basically to let the old animosities die down. That
is the only dissapointment for me personally, that when I returned
here, posted on topic, nothing hostile about my post, and Wilko who
claims to care about the group, fans the old dead embers to flame me!
Then when I check his websit and find myself in the hall of infame, is
bad enough, but then to find an innocent hung out there to dry, that
was unacceptable, and that is my protest now!

I have no desire to run or ruin RBP, all Wilko has to do is come clean,
apologize, and acknowledge that he had his facts wrong! Otherwise it is
Wilko that could ruin RBP, not me, for he is the one corrupting the
reputation of an innocent newbie to the group. Next time it would be
someone else, and eventually there would be noone left!

Acting like Tom has not always proven counterproductive, so it is not
an axiom of proof of results! If the Sees-ko kid, is offended at being
dis'd, that is not unique to acting like Tom, but to being human!
Which is also the point that when you old timers feel dis'd, then you
have your expected response as well!

Oci, you know that this is a public forum, there is no private thread
to be found, so if you want privatcy, use email!

And your reply would be received with the same measure of respect that
it is offered!

Some points to ponder regarding the list above,

as a tinkerer, I love home made solutions, don't fish much anymore, do
have a Honda Accord and old Dodge Caravan, only visited Pittsburg once
35 years ago, don't know much about Photoshop, and only what I have
read, my youngest child is grown up, and my wife, is the only babe I am
interested in!

Some similarities, but then we are both paddlers, and we probably use
straps to tie our kayaks on top of our cars, so what does that prove!

I post about a trailer for a bicycle, go to Ohio for a few days and I
come back and some asshole has me listed on his webpage as a troll,
yeah, I'm making a big deal out of it because I have an extremely low
tolerance for people who think they know something when they are 100%
wrong (that would be wilko, not you). Offended? Not really, just
suprised at the arrogance of some people.

> But acting like Tom while you claim yer not Tom is, er, ah...

I have not a clue who tom is or how he acts. I do recall seeing the
rockymountainhootowl or what-ever the hell he's also called but I
didn't pay too much attention to what he was up to. He wasn't posting
about anything I was interested in replying to. You can see my history
here is limited because there is not a lot of talk here about rigging
kayaks for fishing or what-not. I'm not an "east coast kayaker" as you
described.

His actions have nothing to do with me. I have no control over what he
replies to.

I'm interested in homemade solutions, fishing from kayaks, CRV's and
obviously, Native Pennsylvania people.

BTW, if I was an ace at Photoshop, I would have done a much better job
at blocking out my child who was holding the sign. I would have turned
her into some hot, east coast beach babe.

That's as close to an apology as I have ever heard from Oci-One, though
I could have told you that they would not accept your pictures as proof
of anything. On his behalf, I will acknowledge his not having plonked
us, so he is listening, and that is to his credit.

As far as me answering you, I have left some of your post unreplied to
so as to give Wilko every chance to speak for himself! Otherwise I
have also tried to not stomp around on anyone else threads unless Wilko
show his ass there! I do not desire to mess up the regular and helpful
converstions being carried on here, but I do desire Wilko's attention
and assistance! The sooner the better! TnT OvO HYY

Dude, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong; no big deal. I bin wrong before and
survived the experience. It's not like I ever responded rudely to
Sees-koo-wee-hah-nay; I've been seeing that handle here in r.b.p for a
while, and I've probably replied to your messages if you asked any
questions under that name that I was able to answer -- fairly likely,
if yer really not from Denver, since I've boated in Pennsylvania a lot.

But yer really making a big thing of this. Acting like TnT does, when
someone offends him. If yer not TnT the best thing to do is just let
it go, and the differences in yer personnal styles will become apparent
over time.

But acting like Tom while you claim yer not Tom is, er, ah...
counterproductive. And he's not helping yer case much by replying to
messages addressed to you as if they were addressed to him.

All things considered, I really don't care whether you are Tom or not.
If Sees-koo-wee-hah-nay or Tinkerntom asks an honest question, I'll
reply as accurately as I can if I know the answer.
